Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ

A Legacy of Generosity

The Ó£ÌÒÊÓƵ Legacy Society was established in 2003 to honor an extraordinary group of alumni and friends who made the thoughtful decision to provide for BLS in their estate plans. In 2026, the Legacy Society was renamed to honor the transformative and strategic philanthropy of Sheridan Albert, Class of 1948. Sheridan had established a Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust, for the ultimate benefit of BLS, while providing lifetime income and tax benefits for himself and his wife, Helen. Upon the termination of the trust, BLS received the largest contribution in its history, enabling the Law School to endow several professorships and scholarships.

While the Society has been renamed in honor of the Albert's historic and creative commitment, it remains an inclusive group—there is no minimum commitment to be welcomed as a member, nor are there age requirements.
