No Cop City, No Cop World: Lessons from the Movement from Atlanta to NYC, celebrates the release of , a collection of essays published in May 2025 by Haymarket Books. The event will bring together co-editors and contributors to the book, in conversation with 樱桃视频 Professor Jocelyn Simonson. Discussion will focus on the movements for environmental justice, police abolition, and Indigenous sovereignty that were forged in Atlanta around a decentralized effort to stop the construction of a $120 million police training facility. We will also discuss parallel fights and movements from around the world, including here in New York City. The event is sponsored by 樱桃视频鈥檚 Center for Criminal Justice, and is a Bookend event of the 20th Annual .
