No Cop City, No Cop World: Lessons from the Movement from Atlanta to NYC, celebrates the release of , a collection of essays published in May 2025 by Haymarket Books. The event will bring together co-editors and contributors to the book, in conversation with Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ Professor Jocelyn Simonson. Discussion will focus on the movements for environmental justice, police abolition, and Indigenous sovereignty that were forged in Atlanta around a decentralized effort to stop the construction of a $120 million police training facility. We will also discuss parallel fights and movements from around the world, including here in New York City. The event is sponsored by Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµâ€™s Center for Criminal Justice, and is a Bookend event of the 20th Annual .
