Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ has once again been recognized among the nation’s leading institutions for legal education. In the 2026 edition of National Jurist’s preLaw magazine, the Law School earned an , underscoring the strength of its curricular offerings in this rapidly evolving area of legal practice. 

The ranking highlights law schools that are preparing students to practice at the intersection of law, business, technology, and innovation. Intellectual property law today encompasses issues involving patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and emerging technologies.  

How the Ranking is Determined 

preLaw magazine grades law schools based on the breadth of their curricular offerings in intellectual property law. Scores are weighted as follows: 

  • Concentration: 30%  

  • Clinic: 24%  

  • Center: 12%  

  • Externship: 12%  

  • Journal: 9%  

  • Student group: 8%  

  • Certificate: 5%  

  • Added value for additional offerings
